The meat probe resistance changes with the temperature of the probe. If the probe shows an open circuit when tested with a multimeter, the probe is bad and will need to be replaced.
Jenn Air Range/Stove/Oven Control Board
When the probe is plugged into the jack, the control board monitors the food temperature from the probe. If the temperature probe and jack are good but the control board is not responding, the control board is likely bad.
Jenn Air Range/Stove/Oven Receptacle
The meat probe jack or receptacle needs to be clean and making good contact with the meat probe. If the receptacle appears corroded or damaged, the component should be replaced.
Jenn Air Range/Stove/Oven Oven Control Board
When the probe is plugged into the jack, the oven control board monitors the food temperature from the probe. If the temperature probe and jack are good but the control board is not responding, the control board is likely bad.
